I had an incredible experience today. I got to play Jesus in a skit at my churche’s VBS. And the incredible part was not playing the king of kings all I did was wear a bed sheet and walk around with a card board cross on my back, but what was amazing was the kids’ faces, when I started giving them High fives and hugs. They responded in an incredible way, all they wanted to do was just touch me, hug me, and be around me, and the joy I felt as I greeted the kids as I thought about how Jesus loves me and them, was amazing.

 My eyes were opened and for a brief second I got a glimpse of how God loves us. I saw the pain and heart ache that Jesus went through to save us. How it was so natural in God’s character for Him to come down and become human. God would do anything and go to any perfect length to help and save us. Just because he made us, and he finds joy in seeing our hearts. He wants to be with us, and love and hug and just be around us, more than we do with him. Because when he sees us, he sees His Children, just like he sees Jesus.  Thank God, he gave me the chance see it.
