So this is kind of my take on a subject that my sister has blogged about in more detail so I highly recommend that you check out Megan's blog titled Endgame and Arumbavengers.
I have the weirdest friends.
So my friends and I went to see a movie a few days ago (end game by the way) and afterword we went to a book store and some of us had frozen yogurt. Yeah I know, frozen yogurt in a book store but there are stranger things than that. Because of something else I had to do, I arrived late to the yogurt-bookstore. The first thing I heard when I got there was “Hey Aaron, your RumbaHawkeye!” Yeah, I didn’t know what that meant either. So, I hopped over the small barricade that separated the tables from the side walk and joined the insanity.
(Add more here, perhaps talk more about how the event went?)
But despite their weirdness I wouldn’t trade them for the world. In fact, their weirdness is one of the traits I admire most about them. Because of their quirkiness and compassion I feel I can be myself around them and I hope they feel the same with me. They all have a heart for God and a love of brightening people’s days. They encourage me a lot and I value their opinions, even if it’s saying things like, “you’re a RumbaHawkeye.”
Aaron~
