Hey, Everyone!

So, it's been a while since I've been able to attend meetings, and since I haven't been coming I haven't wanting to take up time and space here, so I also haven't been posting. Sorry about that. But! That doesn't mean that I haven't been writing. In fact, I've been writing a lot!

School this semester has been exciting and fun, I'm working on American Literature (grad course), Environmental History, Science Fiction, and Restoration Literature. Academically it's all been challenging, but also incredibly interesting and has sparked some new passion for science fiction and environmental literature which I've always had, albeit dormant. 

I'm looking forward to foraging my way into the publishing industry, specifically looking for homes for short stories (which may be familiar), and I've been writing a blog! In fact, if you want to see what I'm thinking and working on most outside of academics, you should Check it out!  Recent topics have been everything from how we handle sexual assault in the literary canon, to LGBT identity, to myths about the creative process that we discuss at writing group a lot. 

Hopefully I'll continue putting up content there, and I'm always eager for responses and reviews. I'm also hoping to be able to find a balance between school and club involvement here at CSU and being able to attend writers' group (digitally) in the near future.
