They march seemingly without tiring

always on a mission

charging straight over obstacles

looking neither right nor left

Carrying mysterious burdens

into their tunnels

only to return and march

the long trail back for more

Single minded they are

when facing an obstacle

they climb or step aside

always returning to the designated trail

Even competing species

don’t really compete

having their own missions

simply not interfering with each other

Still the precision seems military

even if they don’t battle

platoons following orders

marching to and fro

The need for their errands

not visible, deep in their tunnels

but the drive and dedication

an example worthy of emulation
