What is creation?

Is it the process

or the act

or perhaps the product?

Maybe all mixed together

always shifting

giving weight to one in this moment

another in the next

Fluid, disruptive

or maybe flowing

sometimes dark

others brilliant, even radiant

always surprising

We know it when we see it

But, do we really?

To create poetry

skill with language

its rules and conventions

and when to violate them

It is part science

It is part art

somehow intertwined

expressing inspiration

allowing its interpretation

as art, expression, and science

melded into a whole
